I love doing abstracts. An abstract still represnts
something, but in a somewhat vague or stylized
manner. It "suggests" an image or idea.
Non-representational art, in conrast, doesn't
depict its subject in any realistic way. So, the
rhea egg pictured here is my abstract vision of a
carousel with large and small swans for
children to ride on. It is carved in three
dimensions, unlike the goose egg version
elsewhere on this site, and is sitting on a stand.
However, I'd like it more if suspended and if
you'll cick here you'll see the one I've chosen
for it. The scrollwork in the brass wire hanger
reflects the scrollwork on the eggshell.
Price: $349.00 USD plus shipping and
insurance. Sturdy brass wire frame
included.
