My various jigsaw eggs are always so much
fun to carve because they remind me of times
long ago working on puzzles with Mom and
Dad or my friends. It never entered my mind
to do an egg as a jigsaw puzzle until one of
my sons got a 3-D jigsaw puzzle of the Star
Wars' R2D2, whose top is similar to an egg in
that it is rounded. The pieces cut from the
jigsaw on the rhea egg in the photo have been
specially strengthened and the back of each is
grey, just like the backs of real jigsaw puzzle
pieces. My jigsaw puzzle eggs, no matter what
type of egg they are on, have always been very
popular. This one would be a great
conversation piece in your home or office.
