At a recent egg show, a little boy was
trying to figure out who all my brown
egg portraits were, with little luck
because many are before his time. He
got to this one, however, and said,
"That's the lady whose dress blows
up from air coming from the
sidewalk." Go figure. Marilyn might
have played a dumb blond, but she
was very talented and very savvy. I
guess I do pick subjects for my
portraits who died before their time,
but I'm keeping them alive in my own
small way.
