A few years ago I had a student here from
England who was passionate about tea roses, so
I did several sketches and she chose one to work
on for the relief carving portion of her classes. I
did one right along with her to show her the
various cuts and I liked my results so much
(very stylized because I like things in my world
to be smooth) that I finished it. It sold right
away so I did another to add a bit of Nature's
serenity to my office. Perhaps this one would
bring a little visual fragrance to you.
