A few years back, I was just cutting shapes
into a goose egg to keep my "touch" rather
than with the idea of doing an egg, when
the shapes came together and told me that
I did - indeed - have an egg to do. I had
been cutting teardrop shapes for a while
when I decided to cut out a heart. It
instantly hit me that by placing two
teardrops facing each other, you get a
heart shape, which made perfect sense to
me. Love does involve both tears of joy and
tears of pain or sadness. It's the natue of
love to have ups and downs, but it remains
love nonetheless. People have requested
this egg more than any other ever since.
