As you can see, the different color layers of
the emu egg lend themselves well to certain
types of designs. This angel is a perfect
example and is done in a completely different
style than, say, the Panda egg. Every line in
the Panda egg is crisp and sharp, creating
clear and obvious separations between the
various elements. Not so with the angel.
Everything from her wings to her robe to her
hair needed to be soft and to blend gradually
with the colors of other elements around
them. Only the edges and the border were cut
with a sharp, clean technique in order to make
the angel stand out so well.
