The Eggshell Artist Magazine
As eggers, we are very visual people…
...we learn best by seeing what we need to do rather than simply reading about it. Thus, at the request of a
number of past subscribers, I’ve recently compiled a CD of every issue I ever published of The Eggshell
Artist between 1999 and 2002 and it has been a huge success.
The CD not only includes all 18 of the original issues in black and white that you can print out yourself or
view on the screen, zooming in to see your favorite details, but it also includes tons of extras. You know, I
own almost every egg decorating book ever published, and I've frequently been frustrated by some of their
instructions. Take the hinging of our eggs, for example. Most books have instructions in text with maybe one
or two sketches. As with all of my feature articles, I broke hinging down into 10 easy steps, explained in
detail, with 10 step-by-step real-time photographs of the process! Have you seen anything like that in the
resource materials you have now?

Or check out these other examples:

  • Using Modeling Paste to Add Texture to your Eggs (8 easy steps with photos)
  • Beading your Eggs (3 feature articles by Pam Genova... dozens of photos and illustrations)
  • Vinegar Etching your Eggs (ten steps, 12 photos)
  • Using Transparencies to make Windows in your Eggs (6 steps with photos, illustrations and a
sample enclosed for you to use!)
  • Painting a la Marg McCarthy (14 steps, 14 photos plus a pattern)
  • Hinge Rings and Screw Rings (8 detailed steps, 8 photos)
  • Using your Egg Marker to Draw Ovals (7 steps, 7 detailed photos)
  • Basic Jewel Box Linings (12 steps, 12 photos, additional diagrams)
  • Jewel Box Ribbon Linings (13 steps, 13 photos of process, several photo examples)
  • A Working Egg Fountain - Yep, real water (16 steps, 16 process photos, additional sample photos)
  • Dimensional Concept Egg - a Must See! (10 steps, 8 photos, numerous diagrams)
  • Wiring Lights for your Egg (8 steps, 18 photos, 3 diagrams)
  • Cold Porcelain Flowers/Recipe (3 photos, 2 diagrams, several finished egg photos)
  • Embroidery on your Egg (5 steps, 13 photos, 30 Patterns!)
  • How to Cut Latticework (6 steps, 10 photos and several patterns included!)

Add to that the many beautiful egg designs with detailed, step-by-step illustrated and photographed
instructions from accomplished decorators such as Joan Huff, Nan Klein, Natalie Stedman, Shirley Rose, Liz
Crawford and others...
The best, however, is still to come! I've gone back and re-edited all of the original color photos for every
issue but the first four (those have been lost forever) and have included them right on the CD as separate files
that you can view or print out in your browser, graphics program, Windows Paint or even your word
processor! Folks, I was blown away by these photos - I'd completely forgotten how gorgeous these hundreds
of eggs were in full color! And, every pattern is included as a separate file as well so you can print it out at
whatever size you need for your particular egg.
And just two other notes: I've included several egg photos in full color that never appeared in the original
magazine, even in black and white! And I've written a detailed bonus article that never was included in TEA:
How to Transfer Your Patterns Using a simple Glue Stick (7 easy steps with 13
Color photos of the process.)
Where else could you find such detailed instructions? Well, if you were to purchase just the black and white
printed back issues of TEA, it would run $135.00 in the US, $153.00 USD in Canada and Mexico and
$189.00 USD elsewhere around the world; but that would have been only the black and white printed
version. I'm now offering the CD version of these 18 issues with nothing left out and including the color
photo files, extra egg pictures and bonus article for only $80 right now plus a $2.00 charge for postage.!!
Outside the US, there is an extra $2.00 charge for postage. This extraordinary offer can be taken care of by
PayPal, check, Money Order, MasterCard or Visa.
No, I haven't forgotten those of you who were loyal subscribers to The Eggshell Artist... for you I'll knock an
additional $10 off the price, but don't delay. This is an incredible opportunity and my CD burner is NOT
going to last forever :::grin:::
